Returns & exchanges
7-day cooling-off period
You can cancel any order within 7 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. This is your right under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act and it applies to every piece, Archive pieces included. The only cost to you is sending the piece back.
Returns after 7 days
We also accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of delivery, as long as the piece is unworn and in its original condition and packaging. Pierced earrings can’t be returned for hygiene reasons unless they are faulty.
Archive pieces
Pieces from the Archive are sold at reduced prices. After the 7-day cooling-off period they can’t be returned or exchanged, unless they are faulty.
How to return
Email returns@trovestudio.co.za with your order number and, if you like, the reason. We will send you the return address. You pay for shipping the piece back unless it is faulty.
Refunds
When we have received and checked the piece, we will let you know. Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 7–10 business days and always within 30 days.
Faulty pieces
We check every piece before it ships. Vintage pieces can show signs of age, and wear we describe in the listing isn’t a fault. If a piece has a fault we didn’t tell you about, email hello@trovestudio.co.za with photos within six months of delivery. We will pay to have it sent back and then repair it or refund you in full, including delivery, whichever you prefer.
